Polypropylene: The Strength of a Versatile Polymer
We chose polypropylene, a polymer invented by Giulio Natta in 1954, for its excellent mechanical properties. This material offers high tensile strength, low density, good thermal resistance, and remarkable abrasion resistance. Moreover, polypropylene is easily processed through folding and die-cutting, adapting to a wide range of applications. Most importantly, it is highly recyclable, making it the greenest, most versatile, and profoundly Italian choice.
A Cutting-Edge Production Process
Our extrusion technology is based on an innovative process that creates a sandwich panel without the use of adhesives. The process involves the heat-sealing of three polypropylene films: the panel's core is formed from a thermoformed film with a cellular structure, which is then simultaneously heat-sealed with the two outer layers. This approach ensures a finished product that is rigid, durable, and versatile, suitable for various industrial applications.
Our material also stands out for the ability to configure bubble size, creating a variable-geometry product perfectly suited to diverse sectors and specific uses.
Direct In-Line Lamination
One of the strengths of our technology is the ability to perform direct in-line lamination, again without the use of adhesives. This innovative capability allows the addition of extra films such as BOPP, TNT, TPO, needle-punched fabrics, and other materials directly to the top or bottom of the panel. Direct lamination provides a wide variety of aesthetic and functional solutions, meeting the needs of any project flexibly and sustainably.
An Advanced Technological Infrastructure
Our facility currently boasts five state-of-the-art extrusion lines: four dedicated to producing rigid sheets and one for flexible materials. In 2019, we introduced a new extruder equipped with “TWIN” technology, allowing us to further expand our production capacity and meet the demands of a continuously growing and transforming market.
